Years ago, while I was at work, a friend of mine came over to me and told me she believed God wanted her to tell me something, and then she handed me a small piece of paper with Romans 8:1 written on it. She had no idea how much that one Scripture verse has revolutionized my life – from my thoughts, my emotions, my words and my actions… they all began to agree with what God said to me that day.
On the inside of me I could feel the presence of God welling up in me and by the end of the day, I felt as if I would explode with excitement, anticipation, and joy. I realized for the first time in my life that God really does love me and He was not mad at me… my past no longer had the right to haunt my future! I was free.
Since that time, so much has changed in my life!
One night while my husband and I were talking before bed, he asked me, “If you could get out to people any message in the world, what would you want them to have?” I answered, “I want them to know that no matter what, there is a grace to win that only God gives.” And then the Holy Spirit permeated our room for several hours to show me many things. That night, “Grace To Win” was born.
Romans 8:1 ~ There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
After many years of struggling to find peace and joy, the Lord delivered Rhonda from bondage that came about from sexual and physical abuse. Her life was filled with sorrow, regret, bitterness and misplaced priorities until God showed her how to be free from it all – through His healing, grace and love. Today, she is committed to helping others also receive freedom as she continues to seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness.
